After 4 miserable days of high fevers and vomiting, Sam seems to be on the mend. With the help of a new medication, he’s able to keep liquids down and will progress to food. When he can hold down food and is fever free for 48 hours he can go home. Great news is that his counts were over 500 (up from 0 earlier this week) and this is without a blood transfusion. He’s feeling much better and even got up early and started working on Valentines with Mom.
