We’re still in the hospital waiting for the ANC to come back up. Still running a low-grade fever but offsetting the boredom with massive Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle videogame action – Sam & I are becoming quite good as teammates! Sam is growing emotionally a bit – he now will unplug his IV pole and take responsibility to go to the bathroom (we’re still on a trial basis with this 🙂 ) We had a 4th of July parade in the hospital and I’ll post some pictures of him and the other patients with their kazoos and red/white/blue top hats. He’s still the sweetest little guy in the world – asked last night about his surgery and if the doctor sliced up the tumor they took out of his belly into tiny little pieces so no one else would get the same thing. Just a beautiful little thought from a beautiful little guy.
Happy July 4th everyone – it’s the best holiday in the world!!!
