Home Again Home Again Jiggety Jog

Just a quick update to say that Sam walked (albeit slowly) out of the hospital this afternoon after they discharged us. His fever and neuropathic pain has resolved for the most part and we are all now home again together. I feel a little bit like we’ve been on a yo yo hospital stay lately and it’s nice to have us all under one roof again again.

Dear Marg,Neil,Sam,Andy&Charlie, “Tengo mucho alegria que “”Todos”” de ustedes estan bajo un techo otra vez!!” Today, for sure, you should receive the “tardy” birthday box and valentine presents for the boys! I hope, Sam will love the humongous,Dragon puzzle that is in it! He is truly a fighting dragon,breathing fire,and walking out of the hospital on his own two legs! “Dios Bendiga!” Loved all the pictures of the birthday party and the ones of all your boys!! You’re truly blessed and enjoy all the togetherness,love and laughter you have in the “Hurricane Hutchison” family!

OK, this is weird. I dreamt about you guys last night. You were all ‘coming out of somewhere’ together so that’s likely the hospital. Neil of course was in his Notre Dame sweatshirt. I even asked him where he got his and his reply was some mail-order ND merch mart. Margot, you were riding a tandem cruiser bike – solo – with Sam in some sort of basket/seat over the front wheel, which he was enjoying immensely. Andy and Charlie were there but I can’t remember what sort of transportation they had at their disposal. Most importantly, you were all together, as a family of five. And happy. Glad that one of my dreams is actually reality.

My feeder on the Let’s Do It page lags your updates by almost a day. I find I have to stop by often just to see whether you have written, and this afternoon’s click brought me a payoff (just like a slot machine). So glad to hear about an ambulatory Sam (would that be Sambulatory?) Try to stay at home if you can!
