Hopped up on Candy
Today went well. Clear so far. Sam went to school and didn’t run. I had a whole contingent of people helping to remind him, teachers, his friends and aides. I took Andy out of school early and he and Charlie had a swine flu shot party with Meredith and her kids and Joe and Jake. We raced them down to a clinic that had the shot and by some miracle there was no line. Charlie was not happy with me at all but now all of the boys have had the shot. I told Andy not to scare Charlie about it and not to say where we were going so he runs in the house and says, “Hey Charlie, we’re going to Legoland!” Poor Charlie boy, as we were signing up for the shot he said, “I thought Andy said we were going to Legoland.”  Sam said he had a boring day and none of his class likes the sub because she is a yeller. They miss you Mrs. O! Both Sam and Andy’s teacher are at a conference in Colorado for the International Baccalaureate program and they are sorely missed already. We will do a blood check tomorrow and so far so good on the bladder. We are still pretty scared on that front.  We’re hoping the stem cells engraft soon and platelets start to bump up some.

LOVE THE COSTUMES!!! The boys look great. We soccer freaks here in Wa do have to say we’re partial to David Beckham but Superheros and Star Wars villians rock too. Praying for that bump in platelets.

You have got to love the interaction with Andy and Charlie..Charlie is such a fact stater and believer…’I thought we were going to Legoland”…Andy, you need a high 5 for that one…
But back to the point..Sam, your struggles as a warrior put Beckham to shame..as I am sure he would tell you..

Hey Margot…
Don’t know if you’ve heard but the kids in B-2 are dropping like flies! Natalie came home today with a fever of 10l.9, sore throat, and headache. When i called the office to tell them, they said that she is the 8th one! Yikes!
Keep Sam home tomorrow! I’m going to ask the sub to Lysol that room!

Marg – love your black lipstick – very goth! kind of looks like something i would have worn in high school. 🙂
Love the boys costumes! Sports, Star Wars, and Superheros – that is a house full of boys!!

Awesome costumes and photos ! Looks like a fun night was had by all ! Enjoy all the candy and three little boys on sugar highs !
Sam looks healthy and happy… hard to believe he was discharged that same day !
